Mary Brunson, nee Turner, (1845-1914) of Martham
Mary is buried in plot 6 of the Baptist graveyard at Oak Tree Close. She was born in 1845 to George Southgate Turner and Elizabeth Pratt, nee Bell. She married Alfred Brunson at St Mary’s on 19th August 1875. Alfred was a postman. They had two children at Martham before moving to Great Yarmouth where Alfred worked for the GPO as a mail worker. Mary must have continued to follow her faith and was buried in Martham following her death on 5th October 1914. Her son, also called Alfred, died on 20th April 1924 aged 47 and is buried with her.
Mary’s sister Rachel is buried next to her in grave number 5.
