Rev. Henry Curtis (also known as Harry). Vicar of St Mary the Virgin, Martham

Nothing is known about Henry’s early life.

Henry obtained a B.A. and was made a deacon at Emmanuel College, Cambridge on 22nd September 1672.

He became the vicar at St Mary the Virgin on 31st January 1683 and stayed there until his death in 1694. He was buried on 26th March 1694 at St Mary the Virgin but his exact burial plot is unknown. During his time at Martham he also covered as curate in 1686 at St Mary the Virgin, West Somerton.
