Harry is listed on the War Memorial<\/a><\/em> as one of those who gave his life during the Second World War.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n

Harry Miller was born at Martham in 1906 as the second child of Benjamin Charles Miller & Rose Minnie, nee Utting. He had three sisters, namely: Lilian, Eveline and Dora. When he was four, he was listed in the 1911 census living with his parents at a five roomed cottage on The Green<\/a><\/em> that was situated between the Dyball’s and the White House. Something, perhaps work, took him north and he met a girl in the Durham area and married her when he was 23; she was Sarah Ann Kelly and they married in 1929 at Easington, Co. Durham. They worked together for the United Bus Company, Harry was a driver and Sarah was a \u2018clippy\u2019 as this photograph shows. They had a son called Kenneth who was born at Easington in 1930.<\/p>\n\n\n

Harry & Sarah Miller<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Harry served in the military in 1943 with the Royal Army Service Corp., 12th Indian Division.  His was a driver and his serial number was T\/1926841.  He was killed on 25th<\/sup> November 1943 in Iran.  He was buried in Tehran War Cemetery, Iran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
