The gravestone is laying flat. His date of death is unknown. Rachel died on 9<sup>th<\/sup> October 1832 aged 72. They were married at St Mary\u2019s on 12<sup>th<\/sup> January 1797 at which time Rachel was 37 so it may not have been her first marriage whereas William was a bachelor.
