Rev. Richard Marris (c1653-1727)<\/strong> Vicar at<\/strong> Martham<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Richard Marris was born in about 1653 but we do not know where.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He matriculated when he was 16 at St John\u2019s College, Cambridge and subsequently qualified there as a Bachelor of Law in 1671 and Doctor of Law in 1682.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was the vicar of St Peter & St Paul\u2019s Church at Runham, Norfolk in 1686 and the vicar at <\/em>St Mary<\/em> the Virgin<\/a>, Martham from 7th<\/sup> March 1695 until he died in 1727 aged 74. He was buried on 16th<\/sup> April 1727 in the chancel of St Mary the Virgin,<\/a><\/em> Martham.<\/p>\n\n\n
