Richard Marris (c1653-1727)<\/strong> <strong>Vicar at<\/strong> <strong>Martham<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Richard Marris was born in about 1653 but we do not know where.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">He matriculated when he was 16 at St John\u2019s College, Cambridge and subsequently qualified there as a Bachelor of Law in 1671 and Doctor of Law in 1682.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">He was the vicar of St Peter &amp; St Paul\u2019s Church at Runham, Norfolk in 1686 and the vicar at<em> <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/marthamnorfolk.co.uk\/?page_id=1204\"><em>St Mary<\/em> the Virgin<\/a>, Martham from 7<sup>th<\/sup> March 1695 until he died in 1727 aged 74.
